The International Congress of DAO Deficiency'21 has been a great success in its first edition,

this is evidence of the growing interest in this important metabolic disorder that affects more than 15% of the population.

The International Congress of DAO Deficiency'21 has been a great success in its first edition,

this is evidence of the growing interest in this important metabolic disorder that affects more than 15% of the population.

This is shown by the congress data:

 + 800 congress participants, including physicians, pharmacists, scientists and academics, as well as professionals from the pharmaceutical and food industry.

 More than 800 congress participants connected live from 26 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia.

 16 lectures by international experts who addressed DAO deficiency from its etiology, its different clinical manifestations and its dietary treatment to the regulatory framework for the therapeutic use of the innovative Diamine Oxidase (DAO) enzyme.

 +  200 people attended the live forum specially dedicated to the Patient.
