The company develops, manufactures and markets high value Diamine Oxidase (DAO) ingredients for third parties, both of animal and vegetable origin, offering tailor-made solutions across a range of industries.
DR Healthcare is the only company in Europe with a facility specialized in the production of the enzyme DAO. In May 2021, DR Healthcare was acquired by the British group Associated British Foods, plc.

- Molecular biology field of research, particularly histamine, at physiological level.
- Biomedical research on nutrition and metabolic disorders limited, impaired or disturbed capacity to take, digest, absorb, metabolize or excrete ordinary food or certain nutrients.
- Applied clinical research, with studies on DAO (Diamine Oxidase) Deficiency, its causes, dietary management and evolution.
